SUMMARY:

When I was asked to design the sleeve for the second release by  Garden Sticks I started thinking about pattern to echo the previous release. I wanted the design to shout about the music  - psychedelic folk and they wanted a rather dark design . The curves are sound like and the lines like strings. The birds - 'Lonely Bird' fitted in perfectly. The hand drawn font was perfect and tied in with the labels logo.
